Sensibilisation aux migrations à l’école Berlioz de Nîmes

Hier et aujourd’hui ont eu lieu les premières interventions d’AMI dans les classes de primaire de l’école Berlioz à Nîmes. Pour commencer, un dessin animé :  à cause de la sécheresse, une girafe n’a plus de quoi se nourrir. Elle est expulsée de son pays après avoir tenté d’utiliser l’eau que « le roi lion » s’est appropriée. Elle est envoyée aux pays des chiens où elle n’a plus de repères. Difficile pour la girafe de s’adapter dans son nouveau pays, sans travail et sans amis. Le temps passe et la girafe est bien intégrée, mais sa demande d’asile est refusée et elle est renvoyée chez elle…

Les doigts se lèvent les uns après les autres ; les enfants l’ont compris, cette girafe est ce qu’on appelle une migrante.

Qu’est-ce qu’un migrant, y en a-t-il beaucoup, pourquoi quittent-ils leurs pays ? Autant de questions auxquelles chacun a sa réponse : « Parce qu’il y a la guerre », « parce qu’ils n’ont pas à manger », « parce qu’ils sont pauvres ». Parmi ces enfants déjà bien au fait de la question, Hassan, syrien, raconte comment il est arrivé en France avec son père, en passant par la Turquie. Sofia, marocaine, évoque aussi un long voyage pour rejoindre la France : « 3 jours de bus et le bateau ». D’autres, plus discrets, écoutent le témoignage de Ramza, bénévole au Secours Catholique, qui a quitté la Tchétchénie en guerre pour s’installer en Russie, puis en France. « T’étais vraiment obligé de partir ? » ; Ramza explique qu’il était en danger dans son pays ; il est venu en France pour être protégé.

Julie, l’animatrice, lance un mot clé : « solidarité ». C’est quoi ça, être solidaire ? Les réponses fusent : « c’est être solide », « c’est quand on est seul »… Non, justement, c’est quand on est ensemble. Ensemble, oui, on peut être solide.
